This image was taken just before the long exposure of M51. For the first time, my CG5-GT mount managed to track for more than three minutes and stars look round and sharp!. The image has been slightly smoothed to attenuate the ugly visual effect of the Bayer mask.

This image was taken just before the long exposure of M51. For the first time, my CG5-GT mount managed to track for more than three minutes and stars look round and sharp!. The image has been slightly smoothed to attenuate the ugly visual effect of the Bayer mask.
